Winsome as he seems
Confidence he beams
Hollowed out, a desert drought
The charm is in his dreams
Shattered behind the light
Cloaked in the moon’s night
He'll masquerade, and promenade
Fracturing wrong from right

Unveiling him, beware
Once emerged, all game is fair
Detaching himself, upon night he’s stealth
Released from his host’s care
For once he’s awakened
The Earth shall be shaken
Many stones to turn, much a bridge to burn
All innocence forsaken
